Pani Technology and Lighteam Gustavo Avilés were part of the opening show for the Soccer Stadium TERRITORIO SANTOS MODELO.

In the middle of the desert steppe of the state of Coahuila in northern Mexico, a new member on the panoramic view of Torreón City arises. It is the brand new Territorio Santos Modelo stadium, a new home for the football team Santos Laguna.

After many months of hard work and running against the clock, the 11th of November of 2009 the Stadium was officially inaugurated. On that date, the eyes of the world were set on the live transmissions of several TV and radio sport channels.

The ceremony was embellished with the presence of important figures of the soccer world, including Josep Blatter, president of the FIFA, Edson Arantes do Nascimiento Pelé who gave as a blessing the first kick on the field. 

The night started with an energetic concert of the Puerto Rican star Ricky Martin, followed by an amazing inauguration show that expressed in 30 min the evolution and strength of the people of Coahuila, who defeated the desert in order to survive and develop a city and a society. Through a colorful mise-en-scene of performance, music, light design, video and macroprojections of light, the story of the city was told in an extraordinary way, ending with a ten minute firework show.

The complex design of the scenes was achieved thanks to the participation of specialized enterprises coordinated by EVENTOLOGY, the company which created and produced this beautiful and overwhelming multimedia show.

After long applause, the lights of the Stadium were turned on to let the ceremony begin , followed by the first soccer match on this shiny green field.

4 Pani BP6 projectors were the base of the show, holding the events inside thematic 3600m² stages of projected images.
