¨ Space poem that raises colors and sounds to heaven.¨

The atmospheric Installation ¨On earth as it is in Heaven¨ was designed by Architect Gustavo Avilés Martínez  for the fourth edition of the Lichtrouten ¨International Forum for art of light and lighting design since 2002¨ in the city of Lüdenscheid in Germany. Download the full story here

The space asigned for the installation was the old evangelic cementery Mathildenstrasse Friedhof, that dates from the mid 19th century. Many original grave inscriptions have been conserved along with the pathway and trees that are incorporated into the concept. The light-and-sound installation stages the cementery as a place for reflection, a meeting point between heaven and earth. Its accoustic part was composed and performed by the harpist Cynthia Valenzuela.
¨On earth as it is in heaven¨ won the first place of the audience prize 2006 LICHTROUTEN, LÜDENSCHEID.
