Eindhoven, The Netherlands - Royal Philips Electronics (AEX: PHI, NYSE: PHG) today announced plans to stage a major international architectural lighting forum in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, from May 23-25, 2007.

The key theme will be the future of urban lighting, and the forum will explore and share new visions on this subject. The event is being organized in association with LUCI (Lighting Urban Community International) and ELDA (Professional lighting designers association) and will be held as part of Rotterdam’s nomination as City of Architecture 2007.
