LFI 2007: Following the sun E-mail

During the 2007 LFI confrence, Gustavo Aviles will deliver a keynote speach titled "Following the sun". Gustavo will elaborate on Ancient cultures, i.e. Mayan, Aztec, and Egyptian, and their profound knowledge of the meaning, use and cultivation of daylight. "Harmony in an effortless sequential rhythm and a non-objective knowledge is what, in light terms, measures the cycles from beginning to end manifested in the Universe as day and night. Our current daylighting technology is returning to nature, the fountain of its origin." The speach is sceduled on Thursday May 10, 2007, starting at 8:30 AM.

this sounds very interesting, however i will not be able to make it out to new york. will this study be available on your website or as an article that can be purchased?

as far as I know, in the LUME architectura of Brasil appeared as : A LUZ COMO MEDIDA RITUAL. And Ill let you know as soon as the other magazines are published. :)
