theANEMIX is a lighting system that creates unique 3D effects. It´s developed by LUXIA, a chilean company formed by two young architects and lighting designers, Ximena Muñoz and Paulina Villalobos.

theANEMIX was first developed in Italy by Ximena during a Lighting Design Master at IED Milano (Istituto Europeo di Design). Back in Chile, on December 2005, she met Paulina and started working together in lighting design-a new growing field in Chile-. On September 2006, they founded Diav and Luxia, two companies focused in lighting. Through Diav they develop the architectural lighting design projects and through Luxia - toghether with Juan Carlos Muñoz - they create, develop and comercialize new lighting products, like theANEMIX.

Their final goal is to create good lighting atmospheres, good design and quality products. They approach to the design process as something ludic which gives a new perception for architecture and space.

They believe in new tecnologies and low energy consumption products and projects because both concepts can increase lighting qualities and low environmental impact.


theANEMIX system will be launched during the Salone Satellite 2007 in Milan, Italy, where it bas born.
