Lighteam Currently Developing Project for San Juan de Ulua's Fortress

Lighteam has earned a comission to illuminate the fortress at San Juan de Ulua, an island located by the shores of the city of Veracruz. The fortress is rich in history: the port was built by Spanish conquistadores in 1519 to receive the galleons that brought goods and passengers from Spain. At the moment Lighteam is developing a project to illuminate and enhance this fortress's already imposing presence in San Juan de Ulua nights.

Tulancingo

Tulancingo's cathedral, finished in 1528 to honor San Juan Bautista, is located in Tulancingo, Hidalgo's historic downtown, infront of La Floresta, the city's main plaza. The temple, build by the Franciscan Order, is styled with neoclassical elements: the quarry stone façade reaches 17m in height and has a triangular shape sustained by Ionic columns and pilasters that frame the main access to the temple. The building has 2 towers and an octagonal dome with a small lantern. These elements became the main features to illuminate.

Actopan's 16th century fortress convent lit by Lighteam

Lighteam has been commissioned to light a 16th century Agustinian convent in Actopan, Hidalgo. The Convent, designed by Pater Andres de Mata and dedicated to San Nicolás de Tolentino, is one of the state's finest examples of fortress convents. The plateresque façade made from carved stone and moorish influenced tower give the convent great artistic and historic allure.
